Bernadette Keating is an Irish photographer and visual artist whose work explores the built environment and its relationships to human experience.

She holds an advanced postgraduate qualification in Photography and Media (Meisterschülerstudium) from the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, Germany, where she studied under Joachim Brohm, and an MA in Documentary Photography from the University of the Arts London, UK.

Her architectural photography combines technical precision, artistic vision, and narrative sensibility. Working closely with clients, she creates images that capture the atmosphere of their designs, with an emphasis on clean lines, materiality, light, and form.

Alongside her commissioned work, Bernadette maintains an active personal practice. Her artist book, Of Bounds (published by Lubok, 2022) was long-listed for Germanys “Most Beautiful Art Book of the Year” award. Most recently, her Líne photo series was featured in Changing States: Ireland in the 21st Century, a major exhibition of contemporary Irish photography co-curated by Photo Museum Ireland at Haus am Kleistpark, Berlin.
